DnD Session Helper

Description:

This app will keep track of player stats, skills, equipment, and more while also serving as a dice roller using random number generation. There’s a lot to manage with every Dungeons and Dragons character and this app intends to simplify that by organizing the essentials into clear subsections.

By no means does this intend to be an all-in-one tool for DnD. This will barely scratch the surface and will primarily serve as a digital character sheet to keep track of essential information. The app will also include a built in dice roller to simulate rolls whenever the player likes. These rolls can be controlled to simulate any number of rolls with any assortment of dice, immediately doing the math and clearly presenting the resulting value to the user.

Similar apps to this certainly exist, but they can be clunky to navigate at first glance. There’s either too much information to take in or too little to be of any real use, so my app hopes to be somewhere in the middle so that it’s easy to understand but not so simplified that it loses its utility.

Audience:

• Dungeons and Dragons players (both new and experienced)
• People who don’t want to use paper character sheets
• Players who don’t have their own dice or don’t want to make noise by rolling
• New players who need help tracking their attacks, health stats, etc.
