This is a prototype for a mobile application which serves to outline the facts behind Polar Bear endangerment. I had to do a lot of research prior to designing the views to ensure that the content was impactful and accurate. Because the app is intended to be interactive, some sort of guide was necessary to navigate between the screens. This took the form of icons resembling melting blocks of ice, which when clicked would take the user to another screen.
Like many information-based graphics, there was a lot to cover with this project so I tried to let the graphics speak for themselves without letting the text get too distracting. Crucial bits of information stand out by using a darker, more contrasting blue color, which effectively communicates key details to the viewer before interpreting the graphic itself.
